The night
What Baccarat sounds like
Baccarat sits inside The Davis, a couple of minutes from Phrom Phong BTS. Low light, warm wood, a mirror ball over the floor and a soundsystem that rewards a slow build. It is the kind of place where the first hour matters.
BYAS opens: handpan and bongo textures, afro house, melodic house, the warm end of the record bag. Around midnight Dennis Gold takes over and pushes it deeper — the tribal, late, hands-up part of the night that runs until the lights come up.
Entry was by guest list. The September night has ended, but the music and the photos stay here.
